What’s the difference between DTF, HTV, and Screen Printing?
DTF (Direct to Film)
Works on almost any fabric
Great for full color & detailed designs
No minimums required
Soft feel with excellent durability
Ideal for small or large orders
HTV (Heat Transfer Vinyl)
Best for simple designs and solid colors
Requires mirroring and layering
Can feel thicker on the garment
Works best on cotton or cotton blends
More limited color and detail options
Screen Printing
Best for large bulk orders
Requires setup fees and minimum quantities
Limited colors unless additional screens are used
Very durable once cured
Not cost-effective for small orders
👉 For most customers, DTF offers the best combination of versatility, detail, and affordability.
What temperature do I press DTF transfers at?
314° for 14 seconds. Period.
Allow the transfer to cool completely before removing the film.
Once peeled, repress at the same temperature for 5–10 seconds to lock it in.
How do I care for garments with DTF transfers?
Proper care helps your DTF designs last longer and stay vibrant.
Wash garments inside out
Use cold or warm water (avoid hot)
Do not bleach
Tumble dry on low heat or hang to dry
Do not iron directly over the design
Avoid dry cleaning when possible
Following these steps will help prevent cracking, peeling, or fading.
Why didn’t my DTF transfer stick?
This is usually caused by one of the following:
❌ Using an iron instead of a heat press
❌ Incorrect temperature, pressure, or time
❌ Peeling the film before it has cooled
❌ Not repressing after peeling
❌ Uneven pressure or wrinkled garment
❌ Fabric not compatible with heat
Can I bring my own shirt?

If you purchase a shirt from our inventory, you’ll receive a small discount on customization. However, if you need something we don’t carry, you’re welcome to supply your own item.
